District Board at the Atlantic Divisional Trainer

This past weekend, Ned attended two more divisional trainers!  Unfortunately, we forgot to take our traditional pictures on school signs…

Saturday, October 1st: Atlantic Divisional Trainer
First, Ned and I travelled down to Bridgewater State University, where we met with officers and members from Bridgewater State and Stonehill College.  Ned and I joined LTG Paige Stokes, as well as six other board members!  We went over the basics of Circle K, ate an awesome lunch (including mozzarella sticks!), and did a unique service project: we decorated pillow cases to be donated to the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute!

Sunday, October 2nd: Greater Boston Divisional Trainer
Next, Ned and I walked 10 minutes down the road from my apartment to Northeastern University for the Greater Boston Divisional Trainer.  We were joined by LTG Rachel Shanley and the rest of the District Board for this event.  We got to meet with members and officers from Northeastern, Bentley, and Simmons College for a very productive trainer!

Overall, these 5 divisional trainers allowed the District Board to meet and train members/officers from 11 out of 14 clubs in our division!  Ned and I have definitely spent the last 3 weekends well!  Great work to the District Board for their hard work in planning and putting on these trainers, and thank you to everyone who came out!
